Layerform Book a call

Privacy policy

This page explains how Layerform System Ltd handles information when you visit this website or book a discovery call. Plain English, no surprises.

Who I am

Layerform System Ltd is a UK-registered company. The data controller is Rashid, the founder. You can reach me at rashid@layerformsystem.co.uk.

Layerform System Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration reference ZC124917. You can check that entry on the ICO's public register of fee payers.

What this website collects

There are no forms or sign-ups on this site, so the site itself does not collect any personal information from you directly. The site is hosted on Railway, which keeps short-lived security and performance logs (such as IP address and request timing) for the purposes of protecting the site from abuse and keeping it running. These logs are not used for marketing or sold to third parties.

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool that counts visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site.

When you book a discovery call

Bookings are handled by Cal.com. When you book a call, Cal.com collects the information you choose to share, typically your name, email address, and any context you add. That information is shared with me so I can prepare for and attend the call, and is stored in Cal.com and in my Google Workspace calendar and inbox.

I use this information only to talk to you about the work you have asked me about. I do not add you to any marketing list. If you later decide you want your details removed, email me and I will delete them.

Email

If you email me, your message and address are stored in my Google Workspace inbox so I can reply. I keep emails for as long as is reasonable to handle our conversation and any follow-up work. I do not pass them to anyone else.

LinkedIn integration (OmniBrain Studio)

Layerform System Ltd operates an internal publishing tool, registered with LinkedIn as the app OmniBrain Studio, which connects to LinkedIn's APIs to help us prepare and publish posts for our own LinkedIn presence (the founder's profile and the Layerform System company page).

When a Layerform account holder connects LinkedIn through this tool, LinkedIn shares their basic profile details (name, profile identifier, photo) and, with their explicit sign-in consent, allows the tool to publish a post on their behalf. Each post is written, reviewed, and individually approved by that person inside the tool before anything is published; nothing is posted automatically without a human approving that specific post.

The LinkedIn access tokens involved are stored encrypted at rest on our own infrastructure (a private database hosted in London). They are used solely to publish the content described above. We do not collect data about other LinkedIn members, do not use LinkedIn data for advertising or profiling, and never sell or share it with anyone.

Access can be revoked at any time, either inside the tool (Disconnect) or from LinkedIn's own settings under Data privacy, Permitted services. On disconnection the stored tokens are deleted. For any data question or deletion request, email rashid@layerformsystem.co.uk.

This tool is used only by Layerform to manage its own LinkedIn presence. It does not collect or process any information about visitors to this website.

Google Ads and marketing platform data

When I build a reporting dashboard for a client, that dashboard connects to the client's advertising and e-commerce accounts with the client's permission. This includes Google Ads, accessed through the Google Ads API.

What is accessed: campaign names, campaign types, dates, and cost and spend metrics from the client's own Google Ads account. I do not access search terms, audience lists, or any user-level or personal data of the client's customers through the Google Ads API.

Why: the only purpose is to show the client their own advertising spend alongside their own sales data, in a private dashboard visible to that client and to me.

Where it is stored: in a private database controlled by Layerform System Ltd, or in the client's own infrastructure where they prefer that. Access is limited to me and to named users the client approves.

Sharing: data received from the Google Ads API is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never used to train any AI or machine learning model.

Retention and deletion: data is kept only while the client engagement is active. When an engagement ends, or if a client asks for deletion at any time, access is revoked and stored data is deleted within 30 days. Clients can also revoke my access at any time from their own Google account.

Limited Use: Layerform System Ltd's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email rashid@layerformsystem.co.uk and I will respond within a reasonable time, usually a few working days. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes (a new tool, a new type of data), I will update this page and change the date at the top.
