Privacy policy
This page explains how Layerform System Ltd handles information when you visit this website or book a discovery call. Plain English, no surprises.
Who I am
Layerform System Ltd is a UK-registered company. The data controller is Rashid, the founder. You can reach me at rashid@layerformsystem.co.uk.
What this website collects
There are no forms or sign-ups on this site, so the site itself does not collect any personal information from you directly. The site is hosted on Railway, which keeps short-lived security and performance logs (such as IP address and request timing) for the purposes of protecting the site from abuse and keeping it running. These logs are not used for marketing or sold to third parties.
I may add a cookieless analytics tool (such as Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count visits to the site. If I do, it will not use cookies, will not track you across other websites, and will not build a profile of you. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site.
When you book a discovery call
Bookings are handled by Cal.com. When you book a call, Cal.com collects the information you choose to share, typically your name, email address, and any context you add. That information is shared with me so I can prepare for and attend the call, and is stored in Cal.com and in my Google Workspace calendar and inbox.
I use this information only to talk to you about the work you have asked me about. I do not add you to any marketing list. If you later decide you want your details removed, email me and I will delete them.
If you email me, your message and address are stored in my Google Workspace inbox so I can reply. I keep emails for as long as is reasonable to handle our conversation and any follow-up work. I do not pass them to anyone else.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email rashid@layerformsystem.co.uk and I will respond within a reasonable time, usually a few working days. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes (a new tool, a new type of data), I will update this page and change the date at the top.
